Founded in 1962 by the current owner Javier's father, Frutería Quintin is a staple of the barrio. Javier, Luis and Carmen have been serving up delicious fresh fruit and vegetables to their cliental come what may. During the COVID-19 pandemic their shop was a much-needed respite of supplies and friendly banter.
Asked what they most like about Guindalera their response was an emphatic: "The people!" "Especially our clients," added Luis. Out of the many store-cupboard stables, drinks and baked goods they stock, both Javier and Luis agreed that fruit is their favourite product.
Fundado en el año 1962 por el padre del dueño actual, Javier, la Frutería Quintin es un referente en el barrio. Javier, Luis y Carmen no han parado en vender sus frutas y verduras tan deliciosas - a pesar de circunstancias muy duras. Durante la pandemia de COVID-19 su tienda ha sido un refugio muy necesario de alimentación y un ambiente amigable.
Preguntado por lo que más les gusta de Guindalera, han respondido sin dudar: "La gente!" "Sobre todo nuestros clientes," añadió Luis. De todos sus productos de alimentación, bebidas y panes, tanto Javier y Luis dicen que es la fruta que es su producto favorito.
