“I think people should be more conscious of the businesses in their local barrio,” Luis tells me from his haberdashery shop on Avenida Bruselas. “It might cost a bit more to shop in your local stores but it’s so worth it terms of giving life back to the neighbourhood, from the lights of the shop fronts to the people walking around to take it all in.” Luis says that times are very tough at the moment with people tending to buys more online, if they even sew themselves at all. Pero vale la pena pasar por aquí si necesita cinta, botones, hilo o lana para ver su amplia gama de colores y estilos. Además, tienen una gran variedad de ropa para bebes y pijamas para adultos.
