As Francesca, the marketing manager, explains “we wanted to create a community here and give students of both the TT course and the Spanish courses a great understanding of all that Madrid has to offer.” She explains that all new students get a welcome pack with a Madrid Metro map, list of places to go and some pointers in Spanish.

Francesca believes that the diversity and multiculturalism that stems from the students themselves is what makes the school unique and she especially enjoys the welcome lunches that the school organises to help make the newcomers feel at home. Karmen, on reception, is also an integral part of the team and she helps the students find suitable accommodation or with administrative tasks. The school also has partnership services with other companies - such as the therapy service SINEWS if the students need support for their mental health plus other companies that may be of use to a recent-arrival in Madrid.

Ella explica que todos los estudiantes nuevos reciben un paquete de bienvenida con un mapa del Metro de Madrid, una lista de lugares imprescindibles y algunos consejos en español.
Los estudiantes son muy variados, desde adolescentes pasando un año sabático hasta adultos que han venido a Madrid por negocios (o cuyos socios lo han hecho) y que desean poder integrarse mejor en la vida española. Francesca cree que la diversidad y el multiculturalismo que se deriva de los propios estudiantes es lo que hace que la escuela sea muy especial y disfruta especialmente de los almuerzos de bienvenida que organiza la escuela para ayudar a que los recién llegados se sientan como en casa. Karmen, en la recepción, también es una parte integral del equipo y ayuda a los estudiantes si tienen problemas para encontrar un alojamiento adecuado o si necesitan una nueva tarjeta SIM para su teléfono.
